Material consumption for drywall

A drywall partition wall is usually clad on both sides (2× board), a ceiling only on one. Approximate consumption per m² of structure: partition ~2 m² of boards (both sides), ~3 running metres of profiles, ~34 screws; ceiling ~1 m² of boards, ~2 running metres of profiles, ~17 screws. Plus joint filler and tape.

Standard board size is 1.2 × 2 m (2.4 m²). The number of boards is rounded up, and we recommend a 10% reserve for cutting waste.

Note: consumption is approximate and depends on the system, profile spacing, and structure height. Follow the manufacturer's technical data sheet.
